Awwwwww she's so big and pretty! I really knew nothing about horses but this has been really informational. I had no idea horses 'lost their coats' that was trippy. Really cool though!
Most horses that are white are born brown, with each spring they shed more and more of the brown off and the white grows in replacing the brown. It takes years before they actually turn completely white. My horse didn't get her coat until she was about 6ish-8ish years old. Foals born white have a high mortality rate.

The ones that are almost white, are like a creamy color. Pure white foals tend not to survive because their digestive track isn't fully developed, it's called LW or lethal white syndrome.
